Claudia lives now in San Luis Obispo:

One of California’s oldest communities, it began with the founding of Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa in 1772 by Father Junípero Serra as the fifth mission in the California chain of 21 missions.

She  has decided to become a Lawyer and has been accepted by The Santa Clara University School of Law:

Santa Clara University, founded in 1851 by the Society of Jesus as Santa Clara College, is California's oldest institution of higher learning. It was established on the site of the Mission Santa Clara de Asis, the eighth of the original 21 California missions.

So she's hoping from one Mission to another retracing her remote roots.
